Do you know a good tailor? That is a question most often asked by people who appreciate a well-fitted garment.  There is nothing worse than looking like you are wearing someone else's clothes. A well-fitted garment can enhance your figure or physique; it can take a regular garment and turn it into one custom-fitted just for your body -- a masterpiece!  My tailors are experts and can make just about any garment look great on you.

European Tailoring and Alterations

So whether you are buying a new outfit -- or perhaps you have lost some weight and need your clothes resized for you -- rest assured that you will look great when you use our tailoring service.

Tailors are available at each shop during most open hours. You can call and schedule an appointment. Our travel division can send a single tailor to your location for a private fitting or an entire tailoring team including sewing machines to take care of large projects. The travel division has taken care of celebrity alterations as well as “on site” events for Henri Bendel and Rock and Republic.

Garment Restoration

What do you do if your favorite jacket has a stuck zipper or a tear? Our master tailors can repair zippers, replace worn linings, mend open seams and repair almost anything.

Quality garments can be repaired at a cost that is far less than a replacement. While not everything can be repaired, let us take a look so maybe we can save that expensive suit.

Re-Weaving

When a favorite garment should happen to get damaged, from moths or a tear from a desk drawer, we can help. Our expert “re-weaving” department can take threads from the garment and invisibly “re-weave” the damaged area.

Most of the time the damaged area is perfect and the damage cannot be detected at all. Sometimes the faint outline of the “re-weaving” process can be seen slightly.
